New Water Line
Had a slow leak that didn't stop when everything in house was turned off, incl toilets at the wall. Galvanized pipe supplying house is probably close to 60 +/- years old so is very corroded. I couldn't put compression couplings on it so decided to replace service line to house. Hand dug the 27' trench (yes, that's right and I'm 61 y/o) but now need to go under concrete footing of house (pier & beam). Already down over 12", keep digging or go through the concrete?
