Possible reason why gas company won't turn on gas
I have a property under contract to buy, a HUD property. I have until Fri to complete inspections. I called all 3 utility companies to have service turned on for the inspection but when I got to the gas company they said it will be 4-6 weeks and they have to put in a work order. Has anyone run across this? Is this a sign that there is an issue or just normal to do on a vacant house? Any input will be appreciated.
