Finally getting around to telling everyone the good news... I sold my first flip!

https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/517/topics/22...

It sold after about 3 weeks on the market (and 1 price reduction).  Didn't make as much as initially projected but a $9K profit isn't bad.  I'm just so excited that I didn't lose any money the first time out!  Most importantly, I learned so much along the way.  Time to do it again and apply what I've learned.

I agree with all that is a great looking house!  However I have to ask, did you say your purchase price was one dollar?  Would you have made more money immediately turning around and selling the house without doing all the work? Would it not have sold for more than $9001 in it's original condition?

I'm not looking to give you a hard time, just trying to put the pieces together.
