Getting off to a good, productive start can make or break your timeline. What I do is Sound proof the windows by covering the entire unit with fiberglass insulation and bring in the night crew. This way you will not disturb your new neighbors .
I am on Day two and we are 55% complete with the demo . This is a pretty good size addition, we are adding a 2nd story and additional foundation to gain approx 1400 sqft so basically every interior wall needs to go.

It is also a fantastic idea to walk house to house and introduce yourself to the people on your block. It goes a long way with the neighbors and it's also networking.
