color choices for selling property

Unfortunately my sister and I inherited our parents home.  it was built in 1990 and it a medium size ranch style.  Some walls are original off white,,some have been repainted lavender and blue.

My sister just wants to paint off white,,,like a dover white and call it a day.  MY info says that would be a major mistake and buyers wont like it.  My kids say greys are the new neutral,,,others have said you need blue grey tones,,,grey is out.

HOW DO YOU GET THE COLORS RIGHT FOR SELLING PURPOSES???  What colors sells best?
