What to expect when trying to finance a project
Hey guys. I'm looking into a fix and flip situation with a fire damaged property. After I assess the costs of the restoration repairs and rehab, assuming it all checks out, where is the best source for funding? Should I focus on finding an independent investor or turn to a bank loan? What would be average interest for a home improvement loan on an investment property? My bank offers a loan at 5.95%. Is a "home improvement loan" the correct type of loan for this job? Do I need licencing to invest in a fix and flip? maybe a DBA even? All information is appreciated. If any lenders are willing to fund a small profitable project feel free to contact me.
