Paying youself to do "SOME WORK"?
I'm planning on flipping single family residential properties. Now I don't want to be a DIY guy, been there and done that!! But I do have over 26 years invested in the carpet floor industry and spent a couple years doing professional custom house painting.
I'm using hard money so my repair dollars come from draws held in escrow. Is this kind of possible paying myself to do things like carpet and/or painting to put some cash in pocket during reno thus getting out of my day job faster.
Anyone try this or curently doing the same? Pros and cons?
