I Have a garage thats long over due for new shingles . I needed 10 square . I found just what  I needed and the color was close enough 30 year  shingles , 11 square , for            $ 400.00 .  Same shingles from home depot were $ 1200 .      AND the guys sons loaded my trailer .

Try out "freecycle" at https://www.freecycle.org/ too for some deals. If in Washington State, try out "2good2toss". Be careful of scams, especially with CraigsList.
