Getting Started in flipping

Good morning everyone I am trying to find out where I can find or talk with Investors to start my flipping journey. I have been trying to find someone who I can get funding from to do my 1st flip or rehab. I have been in the remodeling and painting business for 8 years now I am a Career Firefighter full time also and have been talking about this for a few years now, just cannot find the right people who will invest. I have seen SO MUCH BAD work and SO MANY BAD contractors over the years that it makes me sick that these people can call themselves contractors and that people will actually pay them for the quality of the work they have done. It has made me strive to be the best at what I do and if people are happy with that kind of ****** work then when they see my work it will be like a dream come true for them.. So any ideas or help would greatly appreciated. Thanks
