Insurance coverage of high dollar rehab items: HVAC, appliances, etc?

Hello BP, I've got a quick question in regards to insurance coverage. Does anyone typically offer insurance which also covers HVAC, appliances, etc on properties undergoing renovation? My provider does not and claims to be unaware of anyone who does, and that there are no relevant riders, etc of which they are aware. I seem to remember someone mentioning theft being covered in some form by properly insured contractors, but I don't recall for certain. I'd like to know going forward if there are any options for this, or if it's just one of those things you have to deal with. Thanks all, and happy investing!
