Ideas for deep closet

In one of my units there is a pretty deep closet. The opening is a regular door (not a closet door) so its narrow, but goes back pretty far.

The current tenants put up 2 clothes bars, one in front the other and there is still room to step in and close the door and not touch the hanging clothes. On the back wall there is a single high shelf where they put some milk crates to organize their stuff.

Getting a good pic of the space isn't easy given that they have it packed up. Storage space in these units are at a premium, so I'd like to maximize this space but I'm drawing a blank here. Any ideas and suggestions are appreciated.
