Where to find Owner Phone Number for Run Down or Abandon Properties?

Hey, Y'all quick question. I have recently started writing down addresses of run down or abandoned properties that I would like to purchase, but I only have the owner's name. How do I get the phone numbers of the owners of the properties? I have used Prop wire for some skip traces, but the numbers and emails it provides were not associated with the property. Is there a better way to contact the owners of these properties?

Hey @Nevin Wilkie. have you looked on the city or county's tax records to find the mailing address for the owner when it's different than the address of the property you want to buy?

Which skip trace services have you tried?

I've tried a couple - truepeoplesearch, white-ages, property radar, leadsherpa, batch leads...

Some services are better than others, but it is a numbers game and you also can cross check between different platforms.

you can utilize a skip tracing company to get contact information for the owners. Depending on the volume you would be submitting, find a company that does not have high monthly minimums and can walk you through the process if this is your first time using. Our company requires first/last name and a mailing address for the owner. You can find owners' names and mailing addresses on the county assessors site. Let me know if you have any other questions.
