Most expensive area of real estate (ie contractor, real estate agent etc etc.)

Hello all, hope you are doing well. I was wondering what areas of real estate cost the most and what areas are best to do yourself. I am good with my hands and can do the contracting; I am good with numbers; I rather dislike law. Is contracting the most expensive should I bite the bullet and get educated in the area of real estate attorney or would I be better of focusing on the area of contracting?
