Running Ads for Listing

Jesse Bennett
Posted

Do any of you run ads on Google, Facebook, Instagram, etc. on your listings for your fix and flips? We currently have a property that is taking a little while to sell and we've already lowered the price a couple of times. I am curious if running ads is an economical / effective method to sell our properties faster. Any insight is appreciated

@Jesse Bennett I haven't tried this yet, we use a real estate agent which gives us access to everyone on the local MLS. Keep me posted if you try this method!

@Jesse Bennett, I have not, but Chris's experience aligns with my perception. It is fairly universally known that if you want to buy real estate, you go to the local MLS and/or Zillow. So if it is listed on both services, I can't imagine google/meta/tiktok ads will help.

Yes, they work well and I use it for my land listings. For FB, you could use marketplace + boost. For FB, I highly suggest posting the listing in groups as there will be more activity for it. For Google, I highly suggest as an image ad and boost it locally to county, or major metro area. I don't think they allow or zip codes. I would highly, highly recommend if you haven't done so a YouTube walk through, this is far better reach and you could use it for shorts to post on your other media platforms. I haven't used insta, and will play with it in next couple of months.

Social media is powerful if done right!

Id say rent it and refinance it and go back to the drawing board later when the local market rebounds

Thanks everyone. Has anyone tried Boost by HomeSpotter?
