Looking for Guidance on a Flip

Hi Everybody,

I am new to this platform and am interested in doing a flip. I am a financial advisor that specializes in working with business owners and real estate investors. I have a growing network of real estate professionals and would like to do a flip of my own. As of right now I know I need to add an attorney and contractor to my team to move forward.

I have intentions of using a private lender and am looking for advice/guidance from anyone that has done a flip by doing so. I am located in CT and NY, but not state specific. I'm open to learning from anybody willing to talk and teach.

@Maria Putnam

I wouldn't start with a private lender... since it's your first investment I don't think it's fair to put their money at risk.

I'd just save up enough until you can get a more standard hard money loan.
