How vastly can a single vs multi family home's costs vary and what is the best way to calculate the difference?

Hi Shaun,

It will depend on the condition of each property. For basic comparison multi family at least 2-4 units will usually cost more than a single family as it carries more value. There's also a higher chance that you can cover your mortgage payment with a multifamily than a single family as your limited on how much rental income you can get. I would say to provide everyone more detail on what exactly are you trying to compare when it comes to costs because there's so many different costs for each property.
