Knob and Tube

Hi BP,

For those of you rehabbers out there, If you are rehabbing a house with knob and tube wiring would you rewire all of the knob and tube? FYI: the whole neighborhood is about the same age and most homes are still knob and tube.

Please any advice on this would be great. Please give your reasons why also.

We have a property now where when tearing out walls and ceilings discovered knob and tube. Our standard is we remove and replace all knob and tube that we can find.
