Interested in flipping homes in Alabama or Tennessee

Hello my name is Felicia. I have some money in a pension plan from my ex-husband that I am thinking about using to start flipping homes. I live in Atlanta but am looking to flip in Alabama or Tennessee. The amount is over $42,000. I want to get my hands dirty and learn as much as i can regarding flipping homes. Any advice on if this is something I should do? Thank you in advance.

Flipping is risky and highly taxed.

I think you'd be wise to team up with someone who is experiened and that you trust and do it locally for the first few. A lot of flips are losing money right now.

Join a local REIA (NationalREIA.org) and meet some people.
