Is Trenton NJ still a good location to invest in real estate?

I am buying a 3 level townhouse as an investment property in Trenton New Jersey area and plan to put it on rent for a long-time

I am not a flipper, nor a professional investor but just a rookie investor(hence a little nervous) looking to ensure I am investing and taking a calculative risk and making a good financial/investment decision. Is this is a good idea? Any professional investors of that area?

What do you mean still a good place to invest? Overall, Trenton is not a hot spot, other than for price. There is certainly cash flow and ways to make money in Trenton, but a 3-level townhouse in Trenton sounds like an awful investment to me. What is the HOA and price point? Buying a townhouse in an area you are not familiar with may make you think you are protected by the HOA, but assessments come up which could capsize any profits for years if the finances of the HOA are not solid.
