Seeking Solutions on Resolving Contractor issues over Budget
Seeking advice from seasoned investors...
My contractor started the project in May and requested funds to complete a renovation with 90 days. He has only done the prep work after receiving two draws to start then buy supplies and finish the second phase of project. Unfortunately for me, since he has received my money he is gong through divorce, and having to meet demands of his main employer i.e what he calls his bread and butter... We have met up and set multiple dates and there has yet to be any more work. Have any of you experienced a similar issue and what are best approaches and solutions to this type of scenario it?
