Flip Question: Remove Pantry wall in Kitchen vs. more functional
What would you do?!?! I can open up the kitchen wall and get amazing sight lines through the house. Kitchen would be beautiful but lacking a bit on the storage side (pantry is on the wall I'd remove)... Other idea is open the wall to about 5 ft (instead of 3 ft now) and get some pantry and a little more sight line.
In both scenarios I have room for an almost 9 ft island so that wouldn't change.
I think the kitchen can be beautiful either way, but will I get more value from the open looking home with sight lines from the front door to the backyard or the extra kitchen storage??
Side note: The house has a huge 3 car garage for extra storage, just no good space for a pantry within the kitchen area.
THOUGHTS??? Feedback appreciated thanks! -AJ
