Rehab caught fire- need remediation help

Thankfully no one was hurt and the damage is limited to a single wall. My contractors took lunch and it looks like an overheated extension cord right next to our pile of beadboard is the culprit. There's smoke damage throughout the house and one wall needs new drywall and a little flooring replacement, otherwise okay. What does everyone recommend for the smoke damage besides kilz and repaint? Any other suggestions for things I should consider? Fire marshall said there was no damage to the structure or attic. We truly got lucky. My deductible is $2500, but the damage is likely about that. This will be a rental and was sadly 2 weeks from completion before this setback. I have been interested in doing burnouts, but not like this!
