The Journey of a "Nothing to Something" Real Estate Investor

So I put my resignation in last week. I've been down this path before when it comes to chasing my dreams. It didn't come with the greatest of outcomes, but the lessons and character that I was rewarded were priceless. As Napoleon Hill said, "Every failure yields the seed of an equivalent success."

My thoughts have always been in real estate investing and for some reason it took a lot of cultivating of those thoughts to bring it to a boil. For the last 6 months I've dedicated all of my energy and actions to real estate. Absorbing everything I possibly can regarding the topic especially the specific strategy I plan to start with. Which is why I'm here posting in this particular forum.

Initially my plan was to start with wholesaling, but after many many hours of deep thought and consideration I've decided to start with rehabbing with a vision to grow into more creative investments and buy/hold.

My plan is to use this thread along with my blog as a place to record my journey, tell my story, and hopefully provide others with some "real-time" material regarding my experiences. I also hope that my journey will be intriguing enough for members like you to follow me and offer your own advice, guidance, and criticisms. I hope to look back on this thread 5 years from now and say, "Wow look how far we've all come? Where to next!?!"

So I welcome you to follow this thread and stay tuned. I'll provide my blog URL shortly as well. I'll be commenting here and blogging at least twice a week.

Hope to see you in the thread!

Paul
