Getting Started Advice
Hello, I’ve been doing a lot of research and finally decided to get started in flipping. During the times of due diligence I’ve grabbed multiple GC contacts and reliable potential crew members that I would like to add to my team. My question is, what advice would you give someone starting out with the knowledge you know now? Thanks in advance

Due diligence is important when vetting/hiring contractors, and Joaquin has provided excellent tips.
However, good contractors are unlikely to provide you with quotes/estimates or even agree to meet if you don't have a property. They don't like to bid on hypothetical houses. In my experience the only way to really get their attention and take you seriously is to meet them at a property you have under contract to buy or currently own.
This is because there are so many wannabe rehabbers out there. They waste contractors' time with what-if scenarios. Having a team in place is a step in the right direction Gren. But if you don't have an acquisition strategy for distressed properties then you'll never be able to provide consistent work for your trades.
Good luck!
