What to watch out for in Flipping and rehabbing

Hey everyone! I'm looking to hear what some seasoned investors look out for when touring a possible rehab or flip? What are some red flags that maybe a new investor might not think of? What are some things for you personally stay far away from when looking at a property? Thank you all again for any and all feed back! I'm asking these questions not just for myself but also for any other new investor who might be looking for some more nuggets of great info.

I think foundation issues are always a huge red flag. It’s good to know how old the property is as well as the furnaces/water heaters. When I was first starting out I follow different contractors to know what good plumbing looked like, to know what good electric was like, and etc. This has greatly helped me that when I walk into a property I might not know how to fix everything myself but because of that experience I can more easily pick out red flags. I would advise you to in your free time follow people like this.
