Mercury metal on found on floor after demolition during cleanup

It was a small bit under a window sill on the concrete floor in basement. We couldnt find where it came from. We are totally clueless. No, it didnt look to be leaking.

We were vacuuming when my boy came across it.

Any ideas? I do have a video. Ill post if requested.
