Matterport 3D Virtual Tours – Indianapolis Market Opportunity
Hi All,
I’ve been exploring the idea of starting a 3D Virtual Tour business utilizing the Matterport platform. I’m trying to gauge what the market opportunity would be in the Indianapolis area, especially in the residential home sales space. Generally, I only see 3D tours for higher end properties. Are virtual tours seen as ‘nice to have’, but not necessary for the rest of the market? Or is it an issue of price vs. value?
This would be a part-time endeavor; I will still maintain my full-time job. I would also offer virtual tours for businesses, rentals, hotels, etc. However, it appears that the bulk of the opportunity is in the residential home sales space.
I would appreciate any thoughts regarding the value of virtual tours to market a property or business. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
