Looking to learn in Indianapolis

My family and I just moved to Indianapolis from Los Angeles with the goal of getting more experience in real estate investing, home renovations, property management, etc. In Indiana, we are able to live off of my husband's income alone, which means I have TIME to do all the learning I can. My first goal is to get my RE License. But also I would love to attend some REI meetups and get involved in the community here. If anyone needs help on projects (rehabs, acquisitions, cold calling, etc) I am happy to lend some time in exchange for some mentorship. I am hard working and have great people skills. I have worked as a social worker in the past. Looking forward to this new adventure!
