Hello everyone! I am a newbie to real estate and am looking to gain knowledge on the industry. I'm located around Joliet, IL. Interested in flipping initially, eventually renting out properties. looking to learn how to get funding to carry out my goals! Welcome @Dane Moscatelli!  Lots going on in and around Joliet.  Get to the point you are researching the area you want to invest in.  Read books, listen to podcasts and spend some time on Bigger Pockets to learn more about Real Estate.  Think about what your good at and how to leverage that with others.  Joliet has a meetup but of course thats on hold right now, hopefully that will soon be restarted.  (look on facebook for Joliet meetup)
