Help on Siding Project on the North Side
Hello friends!
I'm working on a project in Avondale where we just passed all rough inspections for a gut rehab (whoo hoo!). At the same time, our exterior contractor pretty much disappeared. We're doing vinyl siding on the sides/back and Hardie in the front. He finished the garage and about 70% of the vinyl, but didn't touch the Hardie. He also had to do the gutters, some facia and soffit.
Unfortunately, and stupid rookie mistake on my part, I already paid him a pretty significant amount for the work. I'm scrambling now to find someone to finish it up for a good price as we can't start on the insulation/drywall until siding is done.
There are about 20 squares of vinyl left and 20 squares of Hardie.
How much approximately should I be looking to pay per square for vinyl vs. hardie? Also, does anyone a reliable siding guy that can help me finish up at a good price? I may have someone for the vinyl, but hardie I know is harder to do.
Thanks all!
