Need a Contractor to build Circular Stairs inside of our 3-Flat
Hello everyone!! Sorry for the back to back posts, but trying to get our inspections done this month.
We have a 3rd floor attic unit (legal) that required a 2nd exit. My architect was able to get approval for circular stairs from 2nd to 3rd, in the hallway. I'm having a very tough time finding a contractor that can build the stairs. I'd prefer wooden because it's cheaper, but a lot of carpenters don't have the experience with circular stairs only winder. Metal stairs are doable, but I've now talked to 3 different contractors and all of them have given me the cold shoulder.
If anyone has a recommendation on a reliable carpenter or welder from the Chicagoland area that can get these done for us, I'd appreciate it!!!
