Chicago Airbnb Regulations

I am looking for direction on how to find a full list of all the rules to becoming an Airbnb host in Chicago  of an owner occupied property? I was told that you cannot rent out basements, but cannot find anything in writing on the City of Chicago website.

You have to register with the city. Once you receive your permit, then you can host. Your listing must meet residential requirements, and you can rent out a basement if it's legal. If it's an owner occupied property you will have fewer restrictions, BUT, it is a lot of work and will depend on your location as to whether you are successful.
