Wholesaling and Bandit Signs?
Hello, I'm a newbie in Chicago and am looking to wholesale properties to start out in my area.
Are there currently any Investors here that have used bandit signs successfully to find motivated sellers in Chicago specifically?
Are they illegal? (If so, how Illegal?) If you live in Chicago, you'll understand that one. I thought about using them as a cost effective way to start generating some deal flow to get my first deal, or at the very least start talking to people and practicing talking with them about their property so that I can become more comfortable with recieveing calls.
This is all part of a plan to eventually graduate to direct mail marketing to find deals, along with other marketing methods later. I've already teamed up with an agent who is also an investor who has outlined specific areas in which his buyers and himself are interested. I guess the only thing for me to do would to just bring him deals, right? But either way, I feel ahead of the game in that respect and I hope that I'll be able to learn from him as we hopefully proceed on some deals together.
Capitol is low right now as every bit of savings I have is going toward my wedding next year, hence the question about the bandit signs.
Thanks for any help,
