Searching for properties through the Cook County Assessors Office

Hi all,

I'll keep this short.....

I'm trying to search for properties through the Cook County Assessors Office website and having difficulty tracking down specific properties i'm searching.

I've searched using the property address which kept returning no results, then I tried searching via the neighborhood search which requires the Township, Neighborhood Tax ID? ( I Believe that's what it is as it lists numbers 10,22,41 etc... ) and Property Class. My issue with this is I've had a difficult time figuring out which Neighborhood (#/Tax ID?) the homes i'm searching for are in, some townships will have 20-30 different options in the pulldown.

If anyone else has ran into this and has any recommendations it is greatly appreciated.

Thank You,

I included the link below if that helps.

@Kory Zasadzinski if you're trying to just use the basic public information tools a work around to your issue could be to use the Cook County Tax Portal. There you can search by address...once you have the building, you'll be able to see the PIN number. You can then use the PIN number to search the Assessors site.
