New investor in Chicagoland
Hello,
I am new to real estate investing, was reading this forum for more than a few months now. I was looking to get a small multi unit building to start with. I live in suburbs and was mostly looking for something between Naperville and La Grange but started exploring other areas as well. I would manage property myself. I do some REO work and looking to get multi unit rental for cash flow if it works I plan to ad more buildings withing next year or two once I get more experience. I started looking to south suburbs like Orland Park and Tinley Park because we pass through those areas almost daily and that would make maintenance easier, but are these good areas to be in for a long term investment or should I be better looking West and North suburbs? Let me know what you think and I'd appreciate any further advice!
