Hello.... I'm looking to invest in a single-family home or a duplex in Boise and would love some input on great neighborhoods. .Any Boise residents or investors here that could give me some advice?

Hi Nadia,
I am here in Boise. And the available places for renters is pretty slim. So its a great time to invest here.
As far as good neighborhoods the Northend of Boise is always a sure thing, but the home prices are the most expensive in town. Southeast Boise is excellent as well.
The Bench is close in and the homes are less expensive then the Northend and you are still close into Boise.
Garden City has been the biggest surprise here lately. There are alot if of mobile home parks and manufactured homes that are being bought torn down and all kinds of different types of homes, condos, and townhomes being built.
After that the further west you go. The cheaper the homes, Northwest Boise. There are some great deals.
Then Meridian is your next best bet., There are some good ones I have seen in the $250,000 range for a single family home. In Meridian you are getting into the suberbs so just check the HOA's and make sure that your investment can be used as a rental.
Let me know if this helps or if you have more questions.
Thanks
Eddy
