Columbus SFH - Grove City Real Estate recommendations
Hi Everyone,
My wife has received an opportunity to work at Nationwide Children's in Columbus and will be starting in June. We currently live in Cincinnati and contemplating buying a SFH in Columbus prior to her start in June, 2021. Given the fact that rents are a tad bit higher than mortgage, we were considering Grove City area in Franklin County for the home purchase. I'm not well aware of Columbus, would be helpful if anyone can send out any neighborhood's we should consider for purchasing the property. Our budget is 250K maximum and everything around Polaris/St.Lewis area seems to be closer to 300K.
Also, would any one recommend any real estate agents in the Area ?.

Hello,
As you are aware the market it crazy. It is not a good time to buy, meaning houses go quickly and a lot have multiple offers. You must have your financing in place for sure. You are looking in a price range that is very popular so be prepared.
The area would depend on how far are you willing to commute? The nicer areas that have higher taxes are Dublin, Worthington, Hilliard, Upper Arlington, Powell, Lewis Center..
I would suggest picking out some towns that look interesting, go to the city's site and research some...come to Columbus and drive around.
