BR addition but no record of permit - resale concerns?
Hey all,
I'm considering a SFH in GA in which a previous owner-occupant added a BR years ago. There is no record with the county that he received a permit for the addition; however the county tax records go back further than the county permit records and the property has been taxed for years based on the square footage with the addition. I'm going to buy/hold/rent it out but eventually I will sell the property. Should I be concerns about resale issues down the road because of the missing permit? Anyone else encountered this in GA?
Thanks in advance, Keyana

Thanks @Sunil Dudeja and @Alex Craig. I figured that this was common, especially in areas with record-keeping issues.
