Financing for Modular(Pre-fab) Homes - Atlanta GA

Billy Norcilien
Posted

Hello BG members,

I am currently researching on possible lenders for a modular(pre-fab) home in the Atlanta, GA. I am not exactly sure how to phrase my search to best yield the results I am looking.

I have tried "modular home financing non owner occupied" and different variations but it is not yielding anything. Ideally, I would like to find a builder of modular(pre-fab) homes that helps with financing or has a preferred lender.

Any advice for a young savvy investor?

Thank you in advance !!!!

Hi @Billy Norcilien and welcome to BiggerPockets!

My advice would be to go directly to a few experienced and well-connected local mortgage bankers/brokers and explain exactly what you are trying to do. If there's truly opportunity there, I guarantee you someone in the lending business is already all over it! You just need to work your way into the right network.

Let me know if you'd like a warm introduction to my favorite "experienced and well-connected mortgage banker" and I'll gladly make the connection!
