Dealing with the Fulton County excess funds procedure- Atlanta

Anyone here in the Atlanta area that has dealt with the Fulton county tax sales excess funds procedure? After the property goes through the auction process and it is redeemed during the 12 month redemption period, is it possible receive the excess funds after closing?
