Greetings:
Here are some recent figures representing AVERAGE price per square foot for rentals in SW Florida. These figures represent SFR with and without pools as well as waterfront vs dry lot homes. They represent 3 bedroom homes.

Fort Myers
Avg square foot: 1620
Avg price/sf: $1.06

Cape Coral
Avg square foot: 1766
Avg price/sq ft: $.98

Bonita/Estero
Avg square foot: 1726
Avg price/sf: $1.25

Naples
Avg square foot: 1751
Avg price/sf: $1.48

Lehigh Acres
Avg square foot: 1471 
Avg price/sf: $.83

Days on market vary:
Fort Myers: 62
Cape Coral: 45
Bonita/Estero: 100
Naples: 122
Lehigh: 33
