Looking for referrals

Ashley Wiens

Hello BP people,

I am looking for referrals for mortgage brokers/credit unions, closing attorneys and/or closing title companies for a purchase of an off-grid cabin in Colorado (near Del Norte) for sale by owner. This will be purchased as a second home/vacation home. The owner is conveying his water rights on the mountain with the cabin, and I wanted to make sure I have all my bases covered. Both the Seller and I live in the same state (Texas), if that matters. Thank you for any advice you have for me.

Ashley, I used Benchmark Loans and CB&T. They both were fairly easy to work with

I satisfactorily used Southwest Title to close a deal in nearby Monte Vista.  Barb DeHerrera and Sheryl Duran helped us out.
