Direct Mail Matte paper printing for postcards

Hey BP community.  I'm getting ready to revamp my campaign and looking to do a simpler version of my original postcard.  I've used VistaPrint before and they do a great job, however they charge more for matte finish cards which I find odd.  I just figured that paper without a gloss to them would be cheater and more cost effective.  Am I wrong on this?

If not, than can anyone direct me to a local print shop in Denver that has reasonable prices for black and white printing on colored matte finished card stock?  If the company can take an uploaded list, merge and send that would be a big bonus.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Daniel, I just found 55Printing.com online. There are very few online reviews so it's hard to say much about their quality and reliability. They don't seem to offer mailing services, but the prices look really good.

They don't offer all b&W, but they're charging $188.88 ($150.97+$37.91 Ground) for:

  • 5000 postcards
  • Color front / b&w back with matte finish
  • Free email proofs
  • Production time of 4-6 business days
  • Ground shipping (2-4 days)
  • Locally, you might try  AlphaGraphics for high quality products and services. They offer Direct Mail services, but you'd have to request a quote.

    Hope that helps!

    Alice
