Single mobile home- not in mobile home park

Good evening,

I am looking at a single mobile home placed in an okay subdivision. However it is very close to above average schools, walking distance from town , church, bank, and fast food places. The price is also very right. Will need rehab though.

Anybody who invests in mobile homes is it a good idea?

Thanks in advance.

@Daniel Fitzroy

Hud started regulating mobile homes in 1976. Before that there were very little to no standards in place

My point is, when a 2000 or newer MH can be had for less than $20k, why would one want to put $20-25k into a 1974 model?  The value in this case Is in the land
