Source of Buffet's quote related to greed/fear

Warren Buffet's quote "be fearful when others are greedy and to be greedy only when others are fearful" is bouncing all around the investment world. To my surprise, the quote is old (1986). In case you are interested, here is the full Berkshire letter to shareholders that contains the quote:
