From my First Offer to Now

Hey BP'ers,

I've been in the game for a little under 2 years now, and a lot has changed for me, mentally.

I remember the first offer I ever made... I wore a suit to my realtor's office and put in an offer on the house. I had a HUGE pit in my stomach and was sweating bullets. It was a simple duplex for something like $95K (I offered $50K). Once I put in that offer, I was so nervous, and felt like I was about to go skydiving or something very dangerous..

Fast forward to today. I just made an offer on an off market package 70 properties. The seller refused to give an asking price, so I did my diligence for a few days, and gave them my offer. Before emailing the Letter of Intent over, I called their broker, who's helping them manage it, just to tell her it was on the way. I am completely calm, and know that making offers is what keeps my business growing, and it's nothing to be afraid of.

(Now, if they accept the offer, I will PROBABLY GET NERVOUS.) Haha

Have a good day!
