PLEASE help me hold myself accountable and take action!

OK, I'm starting this post as a way to hold myself accountable and track my progress  (or lack there of) in my investing process this year.

At this point I have been thinking about, and "planning to do," real estate investing for about 4 -6  years.

I have been working on improving my credit score for about 2 years now.  I have made a great improvement on it by lowering my balances and making sure everything was paid on time or arly.  I, actually, got into the habit of paying my credit card bills the day that the bill came out.

This year I set out a plan for what I wanted to begin achieving and, as of now, I am lagging WAY behind on that process.

Its great that you are thinking about taking on something new. However, thinking and doing are two different things. Certainly we can offer you support as you begin your new venture, but you have to be self motivated if you intend to be successful. Ultimately you are the only person you have to answer to for your successes or failures.
Something a great mentor once taught me is to figure out why you want to do this. Find the reason why this is important to you. What is the reason why you want to be financially free. If your 'why' is strong enough, your motivation should follow. And if your why is weak, your outcome will be also.
Best wishes to you on your journey.
