Change Your Mindset

I had to change the way I thought of wholesaling, to achieve the results I wanted.

I had to step away from the mindset that wholesaling was just a hobby.

I had to being to live and breath wholesaling as a business.

Once I did this, the results I wanted became a reality.

Once I did this, wholesaling became who I am. I am wholesaler that provides solutions for the seller.

I have a full time job and was letting that get in the way of my real estate goals. I had fear. I was scared of the unknowns. So I treated wholesaling as a hobby. I treated it as a bonus on top of my full time job. I was also listening to the negative people behind me. Now at 24, I am getting ready to quit my full time job.

As you go through your real estate investing career, never lose sight. Pursue what you want in life.  You're in control!

Bara, glad to hear you have gotten serious, and you really are in control of your own destiny.  Since you're getting serious about RE, I challenge you to become a professional in the industry, do the very best you can at all times.

This is not a business of square pegs in round holes, in other words, one niche or system doesn't make a business. In about 3 weeks of part time studies on your own, you can learn real estate as a professional, at least the fundamentals to set you on the professional tack.

Fear comes from the unknown, as President Roosevelt  said "all we have to fear, is fear itself". It takes more than courage and determination, it also takes knowledge in any industry to succeed.

Real estate is very much a social business, your integrity will be tested, your ethics will be challenged and as any good business person realizes, your reputation can not be purchased. Learn to profit taking the high road, it is the best path to success. Good luck :)
