What did you do when you felt like you were treading water?

I have three properties. The latest acquisition was a SFR for myself. I purchased it a couple months ago and am still getting used to having the house to myself.

I used to feel like I was always ready to pull the trigger.  Now that I'm back to building capital I'm wondering what others have done when they felt like they were 'missing out' or 'spinning their wheels'.

I have my license so I'm trying to get involved more with the client aspect of my business but I'm finding it difficult to find a balance between active clients and a full time job.

Any thoughts?
