Quadplex vs new construction vs multi family

Hector Escobar
Posted

Dear seasoned investors. I'm a 29 yr old saving up for my first property and am torm on where to start. My dad has flipped and built houses before. I don't care how "difficult" things are I find a way to persevere and have a good network and support system. I've wholesaled SFH for the last two years. Which of these would you all suggest I dive into if my priority is to grow a portfolio, retire early and build cashflow?
Quadplex, build a home and live in it to cash out in 2 years tax free, rinse and repeat or get into multi family?

Again, I don't care about the challenges, I will overcome them. My ultimate goal is to build cashflow and give back to my community one way or another.
